Floyd Central is a perfect 6-0 against Madison since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m.

Floyd Central had taken Silver Creek down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Highlanders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 15-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Madison had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Cubs not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 28th (when they won 3-0).

Madison walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-17, 25-17.

Madison's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11. As for Floyd Central, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Everything went Floyd Central's way against Madison in their previous matchup back in April, as Floyd Central made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
