Obion County waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They strolled past the Crockett County Cavaliers with points to spare, taking the game 66-48. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Obion County's victory bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Crockett County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Dyer County the next time they take the court. Obion County will head out to face Dyer County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Crockett County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 14th.
