Soccer Recap: Starr's Mill Snags Eighth Victory in Last Nine Games

With a playoff win on the line, Starr's Mill rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Westminster Wildcats as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Starr's Mill, who have now won 12 matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Kendra Ivaska and Avany Yeager scored all three of Starr's Mill's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 41 goals.

Starr's Mill is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 46 goals over those nine games. As for Westminster, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Coming up, Starr's Mill will face off against Marist at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marist will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Starr's Mill surely won't give up without a fight. Westminster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
