Softball Recap: Kennedy Eagles vs. Two Rivers Warriors
If Kennedy was feeling good off their 10-3 takedown of Washburn last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Kennedy Eagles fell 8-4 to the Two Rivers Warriors on Thursday. Kennedy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Two Rivers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Kennedy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Taylor, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Kennedy's loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Two Rivers, their win bumped their record up to 9-10.
Kennedy will head out on the road to challenge St. Louis Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Louis Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season. Two Rivers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
