Licking has gone 8-1 against Crocker recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Licking Wildcats take on Crocker Lions at 4:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Licking got the win against Salem by a conclusive 12-1. The Wildcats have beaten the Tigers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Crocker got themselves on the board against Osage on Monday, but Osage never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Indians. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Licking's victory was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.8 runs. As for Crocker, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Licking came out on top in a nail-biter against Crocker in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
