Taft has gone 8-2 against Wasco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Taft Wildcats duke it out with the Wasco Tigers at 6:30 p.m. Taft knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Wasco likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Taft was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 61-55 to Shafter.

Meanwhile, Wasco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Coalinga 66-19. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-14.

Taft has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Wasco, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Taft beat Wasco 69-58 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Taft repeat their success, or does Wasco have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
