Recap: Olive Branch Conquistadors vs. Bartlett Panthers
The Olive Branch Conquistadors were the 66-55 winner over the Bartlett Panthers when they last played one another back in December of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. Olive Branch took a hard 56-38 fall against Bartlett on Tuesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bartlett to victory, but perhaps none more so than Faye Williams, who scored 15 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. Williams continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Carrington Jones was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
Olive Branch now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Bartlett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Olive Branch will head out on the road to face off against Grenada at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Grenada has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Bartlett, they will square off against George Rogers Clark at 2:30 p.m. on December 8th.
