Baseball Recap: Mendenhall Victorious

On Friday, the Mendenhall Tigers got the win against the Vicksburg Gators by a conclusive 7-1.

Mendenhall's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Vicksburg, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mendenhall will welcome Magee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vicksburg, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Yazoo City at 1:00 p.m. Vicksburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
