While Burrillville put up some runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for North Providence. The Broncos blew past the Cougars 10-0. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Makenzie Storme and Macey Polacek made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Storme tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Polacek tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, Storme posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. At the plate, Storme got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, while Polacek scored a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrianna Carter, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Alivia Fantoni was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Burrillville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Providence only posted an OBP of .318.

Burrillville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
