Seton Catholic came tearing into Saturday's contest with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Columbia Bruins 100-51. The Cougars' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Seton Catholic pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars challenge the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in La Center's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
