Volleyball Recap: Ridgewood Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Ridgewood entered their contest against West Chicago on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Rebels fell 2-0 to the Wildcats. If the Rebels were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Ridgewood ultimately came up short, they really made West Chicago work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 28-26.

Ridgewood's offense was headlined by Monika Bartak and Ola Lysanczuk, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Natalia Sibiga and her nine assists.

Ridgewood's loss dropped their record down to 20-6. As for West Chicago, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-17.

Ridgewood has already played their next match (against Regina Dominican), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Chicago, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Wheaton Academy on the 16th.
