Volleyball Recap: Parkwood Wolf Pack vs. Monroe Redhawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Stanly, Parkwood was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Monroe Redhawks. The Wolf Pack have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redhawks, too.
One reason for the win was Parkwood's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-8.
Parkwood was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.
Parkwood has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Monroe, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
