Those 25 points gave Pennington a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kinze Van Meter, who shot 73% from the field on her way to 16 points and six rebounds.

Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Alexandria-Monroe out of the water with a 65-30 final score. The Eagles pushed the score to 62-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Tigers had no chance of recovering from.

Delta's win came from a few key players Connersville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addison Barnes, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 24 points and three steals. The contest was her third in a row with at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Bamidele, who shot 71% from the field en route to 11 points and four steals.
