Basketball Recap: Eagle Academy Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Eagle Academy came tearing into Saturday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Monroe Campus by a score of 56-49. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while Monroe Campus are ranked 50th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Eagle Academy pushed their record up to 22-3 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.9 points over those games. As for Monroe Campus, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
