Baseball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

If Central was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Park Hill on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians fell just short of the Park Hill South Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.

Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Massey, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Park Hill South, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.
