Despite the loss, LaBelle saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aariah Johnson dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Johnson has been hot , having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Amari Jackson, who scored two points plus seven rebounds.
Okeechobee's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for LaBelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
