Baseball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

The Bridgeport Bulldogs came up short against the Frontier Cougars on Wednesday and fell 8-5. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bridgeport saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Nelson, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Frontier, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Bridgeport will welcome Shenandoah at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Zeps at the right time seeing as the Zeps are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Frontier, they are taking a road trip to face off against River at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
