Meanwhile, Groves suffered their biggest loss since February 7th on Saturday. They were outmatched by Bradwell Institute and fell 93-47. The Rebels were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-14.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Groves, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Johnson didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Groves when the teams last played back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Rebels' Tyrone Chisholm, who shot 48% from the field en route to 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
