Basketball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

River Valley lost against Placer back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The River Valley Falcons received a blow as they fell 41-26 to the Placer Hillmen. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 597th, while the Hillmen are ranked 262nd).

River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Placer, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither River Valley nor Placer have any future games scheduled.
