Basketball Recap: Anchor Bay Comes Up Short

Anchor Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen, falling 64-43. The Tars were not able to make up for their loss to the Norsemen from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Anchor Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Grosse Pointe North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

While Anchor Bay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
