Baseball Recap: Jal Comes Up Short

Jal lost against Loving back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Falcons, falling 13-3. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fernando Sauceda made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Jal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Loving, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jal is set to square off against their familiar foe Texico at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Loving will face off against rival Eunice at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
