Soccer Recap: West Carrollton Find Success

West Carrollton proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by 25) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Woodward Bulldogs 5-4.

West Carrollton's victory bumped their record up to 2-6-1. As for Woodward, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Carrollton will challenge Troy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something West Carrollton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Woodward, they will head out to challenge Middletown Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodward's defense better be ready for this one: Middletown Christian have averaged an impressive 3.8 goals per game this season.
