Baseball Recap: Potsdam Comes Up Short

The Potsdam Sandstoners lost 12-2 to the Beekmantown Eagles on Thursday.

Potsdam saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Bernard, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Potsdam's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Beekmantown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Potsdam and Beekmantown will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Sandstoners see the field they'll take on Franklin Academy at 4:30 p.m. on May 1. As for Beekmantown, their break will end when they face Peru at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th.
