Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Takes a Loss

Elizabeth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Sotomayor Wolves 76-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-56 back in January.

Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Sotomayor, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elizabeth will welcome Torres at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sotomayor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Maywood Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
