Soccer Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

MacArthur lost against Southwest back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The MacArthur Brahmas fell just short of the Southwest Dragons by a score of 3-2.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Southwest, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

MacArthur and Southwest should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. MacArthur (ranked 259th) will meet Southside (ranked 534th) at 7:00 p.m. on March 4th. MacArthur is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games. Similarly, Southwest will square off against South San Antonio at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 391 places (238 vs. 629).
