Baseball Game Preview: Leonard Tigers vs. Como-Pickton Eagles

The Leonard Tigers will take on the Como-Pickton Eagles in a tournament on Saturday. Leonard hasn't scored more than a single run for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Leonard fell victim to Sam Rayburn and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Como-Pickton was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 10-0 to North Hopkins.

Como-Pickton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Leonard, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Leonard got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March of 2025 against Como-Pickton by a conclusive 13-1 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
