Soccer Game Preview: Chapel Hill vs. Pittsburg

Chapel Hill is 0-10 against Pittsburg since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Chapel Hill Red Devils will square off against the Pittsburg Pirates at 5:00 p.m.

Chapel Hill played against Sulphur Springs and lost via forfeit.

Chapel Hill will be up against a hot Pittsburg team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Pittsburg never let North Lamar onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday.

Uriel Netro was the driving force of Pittsburg's attack as he scored both of Pittsburg's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Chapel Hill and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Pittsburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Chapel Hill might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Pittsburg when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Chapel Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
