Soccer Recap: Ascend Leadership Comes Up Short

Ascend Leadership had taken Southern Wake Academy down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Aviators fell 3-1 to the Lions.

Ascend Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-2. As for Southern Wake Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ascend Leadership will welcome Chatham Charter at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Ascend Leadership are facing Chatham Charter at the right time seeing as Chatham Charter are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Southern Wake Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woods Charter at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
