Baseball Recap: Broadway Has No Trouble Against East Hardy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Rockingham, Broadway was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-8 margin over the East Hardy Cougars. Considering the Gobblers have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Broadway's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for East Hardy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Broadway will square off against William Monroe at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Gobblers surely won't give up without a fight. As for East Hardy, they will venture away from home to face off against Tucker County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Mountain Lions at the right time seeing as the Mountain Lions are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
