Basketball Game Preview: Mainland Buccaneers vs. East River Falcons + Official Tickets

The Mainland Buccaneers will face off against the East River Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Mainland took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Wildwood by a score of 64-55.

Canyon Powers continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 24 points and nine boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Kade Manley, who posted 12 points.

Meanwhile, East River was able to grind out a solid victory over Winter Springs on Wednesday, taking the game 55-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

The win got East River back to even at 3-3. As for Mainland, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
