East Providence put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Smithfield Sentinels. That's more bragging rights for the Townies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Dylan Annicelli spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tyler Dicecco, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Oliver Andrews also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

East Providence's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Smithfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. East Providence will challenge rival South Kingstown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Smithfield is set to face off against their familiar foe La Salle Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
