Ridgevue hasn't had much luck against Vallivue recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warhawks will challenge the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ridgevue had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 41-point drubbing they dealt Caldwell on Friday. The Warhawks claimed a resounding 56-15 victory over the Cougars. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-7.

Hunter Schmittel was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 241 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also punched in a pair of TDs on the ground. Cameron Johnson also helped with two scores in total.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 14 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Johnson, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Ridgevue's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Kai Dowining refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
Meanwhile, Vallivue had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 28-21.
Ridgevue better keep an eye on Onix Carson. He was instrumental in Vallivue's win, rushing for 193 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Carson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.
Vallivue was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 298 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Vallivue now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Ridgevue, their record now sits at 4-1.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Ridgevue has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 200 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Vallivue struggles in that department as they've been averaging 214.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Ridgevue was dealt a bruising 44-7 defeat at the hands of Vallivue when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Warhawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
