It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Keshequa ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Avon Braves 4-3. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won five in a row.

Keshequa's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Avon, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Keshequa will head out to challenge Wellsville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Avon, they are taking a road trip to face off against Le Roy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Oatkan Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
