Basketball Recap: Potterville Takes a Loss

Potterville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Laingsburg Wolfpack. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 491st, while the Wolfpack are ranked 188th).

Potterville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Laingsburg, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Potterville will face off against Lansing Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lansing Christian will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Potterville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Laingsburg, they will take on St. Charles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (St. Charles has won three straight at home, while Laingsburg won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
