Basketball Recap: Cleveland's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

After losing to Caney Valley the last time they met, Cleveland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cleveland Tigers walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Caney Valley Trojans on Thursday. The win was some much needed relief for the Tigers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Caney Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Cleveland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-35 win against Porter on the 25th. As for Caney Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-15 victory against Liberty on the 24th.
