Softball Game Preview: North Myrtle Beach Chiefs vs. White Knoll Timberwolves

The North Myrtle Beach Chiefs will take on the White Knoll Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Myrtle Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

North Myrtle Beach heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Wednesday. They fell 9-6 to Chapin. The Chiefs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Sadie Olson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Isabella Bruno was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for White Knoll's offense. They came up short against Berkeley on Wednesday, falling 6-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Timberwolves have suffered since March 30, 2024.

White Knoll saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nikki Gallardo, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

White Knoll's loss dropped their record down to 14-8-1. As for North Myrtle Beach, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-11.
