Basketball Recap: Hailey Camp Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

Lawrence's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 55-42 victory over the Marcellus Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 48-29 back in January.

Lawrence's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hailey Camp, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds. Camp is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in each of the last 24 games she's played dating back to last season. Carolina Mancera was another key player, on her way to 16 points and six boards.

Lawrence has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. Marcellus' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Lawrence has already played their next game (against Bloomingdale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Marcellus also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Decatur.
