Volleyball Recap: Kimball Comes Up Short

Kimball had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 7-6 to make it six. They lost 3-0 to the Hershey Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Longhorns have suffered since October 28, 2024.

Jade O'Rouke paced Kimball's offense, picking up three kills. O'Rouke got some help from Grace Moore and her nine assists.

As for Hershey, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-6. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Ella Thompson had an outrageously good game as she had 17 digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Kimball has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hay Springs on the 25th. As for Hershey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against McCook on the 25th.
