Basketball Recap: Bishop McNamara Takes a Loss

After flying high against Marian Central Catholic last Saturday, Bishop McNamara came back down to earth. The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish fell to Chicago Hope Academy 79-75. The Fightin' Irish haven't had much luck with Chicago Hope Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Bishop McNamara's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Chicago Hope Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Looking ahead, Bishop McNamara will welcome EPIC Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. Bishop McNamara knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully EPIC Academy likes a good challenge. As for Chicago Hope Academy, they will head out to face off against Benet Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Chicago Hope Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 16 games.
