Softball Recap: Clay County Takes a Loss

Clay County came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Jackson County Generals, falling 10-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost three in a row.

Clay County's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Jackson County, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Generals beat Clay County by a score of 9-1 later that day.
