Baseball Recap: Wildwood Warriors vs. Pennsville Memorial Eagles
Wildwood dropped their record down to 8-7 on Thursday, which also ended the team's five-game streak of wins at home. They lost 22-3 to the Pennsville Memorial Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-2 back in April.
Trevor Troiano was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.
As for Pennsville Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. The result was nothing new for Pennsville Memorial, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.
