Island Coast came out on top against Golden Gate on Thursday thanks in part to Bobby Wilenius's efforts. Wilenius produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

Coming up, Wilenius and Island Coast will square off against Cypress Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Island Coast is 8-2 against Cypress Lake going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
