Basketball Recap: Bethel Christian Comes Up Short

Bethel Christian suffered their closest loss since November 20, 2023 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Suffolk Christian Academy Knights by a score of 40-37. Bethel Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Suffolk Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Luke Ott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Suffolk Christian Academy, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Ott has scored at least a third of Suffolk Christian Academy's points. Nathan Jones was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Bethel Christian is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.
