Basketball Recap: Chester Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Chester Flyers came up short against the St. Francis Indian Warriors and fell 54-41. The Flyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Spotted Tail was a one-man wrecking crew for St. Francis Indian as he dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Spotted Tail has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Roger Roether III was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.

Chester's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for St. Francis Indian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Chester has already played their next contest, a 61-58 win against Canistota on the 28th. As for St. Francis Indian, they will square off against White River at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis Indian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.5 points per game this season.
