Basketball Game Preview: Caston Comets vs. DeMotte Christian Knights

Caston is 0-3 against DeMotte Christian since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Caston Comets will challenge the DeMotte Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Caston has six straight victories, DeMotte Christian has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Caston proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 45) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out North Miami 64-61.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 59 points the game before, DeMotte Christian was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 54-28 to Winamac.

Caston's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for DeMotte Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Caston took a serious blow against DeMotte Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2018, falling 65-34. Can Caston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
