Basketball Recap: Maud Comes Up Short

Maud lost against Allen back in February of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Maud Tigers took a blow against the Allen Mustangs, falling 77-33. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while the Mustangs are ranked 90th).

This is the second loss in a row for Maud and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Allen, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maud will head out to challenge Schulter at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Allen, they will take on Stringtown in a tournament on Thursday.
