It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They breezed past the Tulare Western Mustangs to the tune of 81-50. The Grizzlies' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

When it comes to explaining why Tulare Western lost, don't look at Malachi Ficher. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-15 on his way to 16 points. Ficher's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Taylor, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

The win made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 18-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.5 points over those games. As for Tulare Western, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-11 record this season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-45 victory against Bakersfield on the 19th. Tulare Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
