Soccer Recap: Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Takes a Loss

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Covenant Day Lions. While losing is never fun, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 174th in Georgia, while Covenant Day are ranked 26th in North Carolina).

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Covenant Day, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Rabun Gap-Nacoochee has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Wesleyan Christian Academy on the 18th. As for Covenant Day, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Davidson Day at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th. Davidson Day will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Covenant Day surely won't give up without a fight.
