Volleyball Recap: East Fairmont Comes Up Short

East Fairmont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madonna Blue Dons.

Annie Musgrove paced East Fairmont's offense, picking up eight kills. Musgrove were helped by Kyah Stump and Brooke Donlin, who contributed five assists each. Peyton McDaniel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

East Fairmont's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Madonna, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, East Fairmont and Madonna will both be playing Gilmer County the next time they take the court. The Bees will head out to face the Titans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Dons will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
