Softball Game Preview: McLaurin Tigers vs. Pelahatchie Chiefs

McLaurin is 2-8 against Pelahatchie since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The McLaurin Tigers will be playing at home against the Pelahatchie Chiefs at 6:30 p.m.

After dropping their season opener at home, Pelahatchie is headed out to face a Tigers team ready to give their home crowd a win. McLaurin lost 17-2 to Pelahatchie on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

McLaurin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Irby, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

McLaurin might still be hurting after the 17-2 loss they got from Pelahatchie when the teams last played on Monday. Can McLaurin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
